"An imperfect education. Critical notes on pedagogies of art" raises four reflections on as many contexts in which pedagogical processes are deployed in relation to the arts: the university, the school, the museum and the community . In each of them, a specific problem is developed related to the tensions inherent in these fields, understood as spaces articulated through cultural and political struggles. Thus, the possibility of developing an academic life in the faculties of arts that transgresses the neoliberal tendencies of higher education is discussed, a critique of the imperative of creativity in the discourses of educational innovation is made, the subordinate position of the education in museums as a key place of political action, and the community art proposals of the "city councils of change" of Barcelona and Madrid are analyzed as a form of citizen pedagogy.
This itinerary aspires to contribute to the existing debates from a position that is not affirmative but committed to permanent uncertainty.
