It is a silent book, without texts. Joanne Liu 's expressive and playful illustrations are enough to tell the story:
Max walks through the museum. There, among the works of art, he observes everything that surrounds him: Next to an impressionist painting, the beauty of nature through the window; a visitor's tattoos, which resemble exotic drawings on Ming porcelain; or the shadows drawn by the paintings, like those of Calder himself...
Art is everywhere, you just have to know how to observe! This is the wonderful message of the book. How important is the gaze with which we address the world, and how extraordinary is that curiosity and capacity for surprise that exists in the gaze of the smallest.
At the end of the book there is a small guide, with a phrase that accompanies each image, which allows a rereading and at the same time informs about the artists in which the author has been inspired and that are reflected in the works of art that appear throughout the ride.
