This is the catalog that accompanied the Judith Joy Ross exhibition at the Sala Recoletos in Madrid, and includes reproductions of all the works on display, most of which were shown to the public for the first time .
It also includes a main essay by the project's curator, Joshua Chuang, curator of photography at the New York Public Library, and another by Svetlana Alpers, renowned American art historian, as well as a large documentary appendix prepared by Adam Ryan. A personal reflection by Addison Bross, a friend of the photographer, accompanies the portrait of him that is reproduced on one of the pages of the book.
