"El infarct del alma", published for the first time in Chile in 1994, is a unique work, made with four hands and four eyes by the photographer Paz Errázuriz and the writer Diamela Eltit .
Both women had traveled to the Philippe Pinel psychiatric hospital , in the city of Putaendo, built in 1940 as a tuberculosis sanatorium but converted from 1968 into an asylum. In this unpublished work in Spain , travel journals, letters, poetry, essays and the most visceral photography come together .
