Through the images of the wound and the wound of images, Javier Iáñez and Manuel Padín try to shed light on photography's new possibilities of life , its power to generate new landscapes of the (im)possible that take on the power of its fissures and the echo of its cries: the need to dive into the wounds and offer them half-open, against the current of the storm.
"Diving the wound. (Im)possible landscapes of the image in the post-photographic era" is configured as a kind of survival manual to learn how to dive into the depths of the (audio)visual oceans that flood our contemporary landscape. Iáñez and Padín reflect on the current condition of the image, on its multiple wounds and fissures, as well as on its possibilities to generate a distribution of new realities.
